Empowering integration: Advancing training sessions in Kosovo

Exciting progress is underway in Kosovo as training sessions on the Guidelines for monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of foreigner integration policy and access to integration schemes continue to unfold. In may, significant milestones were achieved with the successful completion of training sessions in Ferizaj, Gjilan, and Mitrovica regions, signaling substantial progress in fostering inclusivity and support for foreign residents.

These training sessions, spearheaded by Jesuit Refugee Service Kosovo, with support from the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and Caritas Switzerland in Kosovo, represent a concerted effort to empower stakeholders with essential monitoring and evaluation (M&E) guidelines. By providing participants with vital tools and knowledge, the sessions aim to streamline integration efforts and ensure the effective implementation of policies.

The completion of training sessions in these regions marks a pivotal moment in Kosovo’s journey towards creating a more inclusive society. Frontline workers, including government officials at both central and local levels, actively participated in collaborative discussions and knowledge exchange, sharing insights and best practices.

The successful implementation of these training sessions underscores Kosovo’s steadfast commitment to promoting integration and support for foreign residents.
