May in JRS Kosovo

May has been a very busy month in working with asylum seekers and refugees in Kosovo. JRS Kosovo has continued it’s work by being everyday present in the asylum seekers center organizing Albanian Language Course, Computer Course and Health support for our beneficiaries.

At the same time, we worked with Persons who Granted the International Protection by offering monthly vouchers for food and non food items, Health support and accredited albanian and/or english language. We created the Albanian Clubs with refugees from Ukraine and Afghanistan and we met regularly in JRS office to spend time together and to practice albanian.

For the European day, JRS Kosovo, in collaboration with the Embassy of Finland attended the “Youth Skills Festival” where we had the chance to present JRS work and to raise awareness on the role youth have in improving the society we live in

At the end of May, JRS Kosovo representative attended “The detention under spotlight” Steering Committee which toked place at Chant d’Oiseau, in Brussels.
