Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from JRS Kosovo to each one of you!

During this month, together with our refugee friends we celebrated the end of the year.

We organized a very simple activity with food, dance, and great company but it was a great example of collaboration, trust and synergy between refugees, NGOs, private businesses, and Governmental Institutions.

Event take place in Prishtina, and around 100 refugees from Syria, Palestina, Iraq, Turkey, Ukraine, Jordan and Afganistan, staff from the Ministry of Interior Affairs and UNHCR and it’s partner organizations (CRPK and KRCT) participated in the event. 

We all gathered to celebrate and taste Kosovar traditional food. The private businesses Trosha and Rugova supported the activity with traditional food and drinks.

Each of us had a role in organizing this amazing activity and through the very good communication we made it to a very special celebration and a qualitative time all together.

JRS Kosovo priorities for the future remain the same: Welcoming, Sharing hope and Integration.
