“Bear Sanctuary” with asylum seekers and host community of Magure village

Jesuit Refugee Service in cooperation with the Civil Right Program Kosovo (CRP/K) in partnership with UNHCR Kosovo and Asylum Center, on September 15, 2022 organized a journey at the “Bear Sanctuary” with asylum seekers and host community of Magure village.

This activity aimed to offer asylum seekers an escape from their routine in the center and more important to contribute on well-being and socializing opportunities between asylum seekers and host community members.

Around 20 asylum seekers, 5 community members and staff of the asylum center and of the NGOs participated in this activity and spent the day together, enjoying the visit at the bears sanctuary and sharing experiences and information with each other.

The entire group of participants welcomed this initiative but mostly were the children who enjoyed this activity
