Marking the World Refugee Day in region of Gjilan

JRS Kosovo in cooperation with The Civil Right Program Kosovo (CRP/K), and in partnership with UNHCR Kosovo and Asylum Center, on 17 June 2022, organized a excursion with asylum seekers and host community children in order to mark the World Refugee day.

Asylum seekers, duty bearers and community members of Magure spent a day in the region of Gjilan, Kosovo, having fun, getting to know each other and sharing their experiences. This activity contributed to the well-being and socializing opportunities of asylum seekers. Through this event we shared the message that everyone has the right to seek safety, regardless their nationality, gender, religion or skin color, whenever they are forced to flee from their own country.
